Under the current sanitary circumstances, we are not able this year to make any tastings in the estates until further notice. And as such, we will not be able to introduce 2019 « en Primeurs » as scheduled. Still, regardless of the actual situation, as the old latin adage says : “Farm from the eyes, close to the heart”.

We are lucky to make and see, while it was still allowed, a great introduction tasting to all the Négociants / brokers of the Place de Bordeaux to showcase the Smith Haut Lafitte 2019. This was most probably the last event of its kind in Bordeaux before France was under total lockdown. This is why we took the opportunity to shoot a video of the tasting in order to share this great gathering atmosphere around the newly released 2019 barrel sample and henceforth giving you guys some hints of this new exciting vintage to come ! 2019 is truly a great vintage …
