Stéphane Buron, 2 Michelin star chef, will race at the Singapore Grand Prix
French do it better, so it’s the French Chef Stéphane Buron, from the restaurant « Le Chabichou », 2 Michelin stars, in Courchevel who will drive the menus of Twenty 3 of the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Grand Prix 2022, a key player in hospitality tourism and exquisite catering including award-winning restaurants, a club and a bar.
During 3 days, from September 30th to October 2nd, 2022, Stéphane Buron and his team will prepare dishes from the emblematic Courchevel’s 2 stars Michelin restaurant such as sea bass confit at low temperature, iodized emulsion, Kristal caviar or even La pomme made from small apples foie gras and smoked eel lacquered with juice, parsley sorbet.
The Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix organized by Singapore GP Pte Ltd is a global motorsport extravaganza that has been watched by more than 930 millions viewers worldwide since 2008. As the original F1 night race, it is Asia’s only street race on the Formula 1® calendar. With its unique combination of spectacular night racing and world-class live entertainment at the picturesque Marina Bay Street Circuit, the event is attended by more than 250,000 spectators annually. Born in Limoges, Stéphane Buron was brought up in Lorraine. Always staying with his grandmother in her delicatessen, he spent his holidays in his grandfather’s deli meats. A destiny as a chef that was mapped out which led him from the Grand Hôtel de Gérardmer to Le Chabichou, as Michel Rochedy’s right-hand man. Since 1987, he is one of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (2004), Knight of the Order of Merit, member of the Grandes Tables du Monde and the Toques Blanches Lyonnaises, Toque of the Year 2021, assuming now by himself the two Michelin stars that honor this restaurant in Courchevel.
